How do you print recipes?
The page comes up blank whenever I try to print out the text version of the recipe. What's the secret to making this work? I've tried everything.
How do you black the blank and doesn't blank do blank? Questions? Bring it on.
Unfortunately the chart you are referring to will not print as it is merely supporting information that goes along with a few of the lessons. You could try cutting and pasting the text into a word document if you like. Alternatively you could send us your email (maybe via the contact us link at the bottom of the page) and I could send you the text. Hope this helps. Cheers!
I've tried printing several different recipes, resulting with the same issue.
>I wondered if it was my printer setup, so tried 'other' sites (Fine Cooking & America's Test Kitchen) & have no issues with them.
>The problem is as if the right hand margin keeps moving to the left,
and the end of sentences are choppedoff (& not scrolled).
>I am using std letter size paper (8-1/2 x 11)
>Is there some setup I have control of that is screwed up?
Hi Rouxbe -- I am prepping for Thanksgiving and printed out the Roasted Turkey recipe. I noticed only the main image is printing out and not the supporting images for each step of the recipe. I have recipes printed out from your site from last year and all images printout out just fine. I turned on "print background images" to see if that would help, but the results were the same. I also tried printing the Mung Bean salad recipe (which I successfully printed out with all images last year), but only the main image prints here as well. I noticed the recipe template is updated, so maybe that has something to do with it. Don't know if anyone else is having this print problem, but thought I would mention. Thank you!
