The page comes up blank whenever I try to print out the text version of the recipe. What's the secret to making this work? I've tried everything.

I've been printing the recipes just fine, but I tried printing the general water to rice ratios chart, and that one printed as a blank frame. No problems with anything else, just that one. Thanks!

Unfortunately the chart you are referring to will not print as it is merely supporting information that goes along with a few of the lessons. You could try cutting and pasting the text into a word document if you like. Alternatively you could send us your email (maybe via the contact us link at the bottom of the page) and I could send you the text. Hope this helps. Cheers!

Unfortunately, it won't allow me to copy the text to paste into another document. If it had, I wouldn't be too concerned that it wouldn't print. I will try sending my e-mail. Thanks!

You can use software like Snag it, from Tech Smith to capture a scrolling webpage and then paste into Word or print directly. Do a search for Screen Capture software on google or download.com many are free.

I have forwarded the copy to Heather at her request. We plan to make text printable in the future.

But great idea Eduardo. I use a software application called InstantShot! Works like a charm.

I've tried printing several different recipes, resulting with the same issue.

Hi Rouxbe -- I am prepping for Thanksgiving and printed out the Roasted Turkey recipe. I noticed only the main image is printing out and not the supporting images for each step of the recipe. I have recipes printed out from your site from last year and all images printout out just fine. I turned on "print background images" to see if that would help, but the results were the same. I also tried printing the Mung Bean salad recipe (which I successfully printed out with all images last year), but only the main image prints here as well. I noticed the recipe template is updated, so maybe that has something to do with it. Don't know if anyone else is having this print problem, but thought I would mention. Thank you!

i am having the same problem with printing the recipes out . The right side is cut off. Is there anything i could do to correct this ? thank you

Thank you for reporting this issue. Our developers are looking into it but we are pretty sure it is a problem specific to your IE browser.

If you either try another browser or upgrade your IE browser, the problem will likely go away in the interim.

I changed my browser from IE to Firefox, and this did eliminate the problem. Firefox also has the advantage of not 'hogging' so much desktop real-estate.
