I'm planning on buying a dutch oven Le Creuset What size Dutch Oven is appropriate for a family of four? I want an all around dutch oven to cook short ribs, stews, pot roast.

Which Size Dutch Oven To Buy?

I would suggest the Le Creuset 6.9 lt Dutch oven (or as they call it French oven).

I personally have this one (and a few others) and this is the one I use the most, as I often find myself cooking for 4. I am sure you will find that you love it as much as I do.
