Lasagna: bake now and freeze OR freeze fresh bake later?

I'm making 2 lasagnas (one meat, one pumpkin) with homemade noodles for eating later over the holidays. Is it better to cook, freeze and reheat OR freeze fresh and cook later? Or maybe it doesn't matter either way?
Thanks for your help.

Re: Lasagna

There are mixed reviews as to whether or not one should bake and then freeze or freeze and then bake. I like to freeze and then bake. Here is another thread on this subject from Chowhound.

Re: Lasagna

Several years ago I baked and then froze a pan of lasagna for the holidays and it was a big disappointment. The noodles were mushy and had no body. The taste of the dish itself was excellent but the texture was all wrong.

Re: lasagna

I always freeze and then bake my lasagna and it turns out great.
