Specific Lessons for Me?

I'm new to the Site and my name is Rose.

While I'm by no means a professional chef, I have dedicated most of my life to the pursuit of cooking techniques and the creation of new recipes. That is why I ended up here at this site, with the intention of learning something new.

I was just wondering if anybody with more experience to the rouxbe site could help gear me towards which lessons would be better for a person with more experience, and to be quite frank, it does have a little to do with me being a bit to lazy to look through all the lessons and videos myself...

I'm only 17 years old, but I'm already on my way to writing my own cook book and as an upcoming senior, I am planning to apply to culinary school.

Any help and advice for my future "Chefness" is also very much accepted.

Thank you!

Well, the first advice is don't be lazy. Frankly, you don't know what you don't know - and I'm guessing that at 17, even with a fair bit of experience to date, there are still large knowledge gaps in your technical base. If you're serious about cooking, just start methodically going through the lessons. Yes, some of it you might know already but you will learn 'why'.
