Classic Creamy Potato Salad

This evening I had a pleasent surprise with the convergence of two great cooking sources! In a potato salad! I simply had to try Dawn's recipe for the Classic Creamy Potato Salad ( Rouxbe Community Blog Aug 15th.) This evening I included it with my dinner menu of broiled wild salmon coated with a basil butter topping and some green beans from our local farmer's market.When preparing a dinner menu, I frequently refer to one of Christopher Kimbal's reference books just to be sure of my techniques . This evening I referenced the recipe for American potato salad and discovered that both recipes were very similar. Proceeding from the confidence this gave me I prepared the salad and the remaining items on the menu and produced a near perfect meal.
