Pepper Mill

I have been using the OXO pepper mills buy am not as satisfied with them as I thought I would be.

Does anyone have any recommendations for pepper mills?

RE: Type of Pepper Mill

We love the Magnum peppermill by Unicorn. It is fast to grind and it is easy to adjust the level of grind. Cheers!

Thanks Kimberly

I will take a look at it.

Best Pepper Mill

I have both a Peugeot and a Magnum and the Magnum outperforms it by a mile. Best Pepper Mill I've ever owned. Easy to order on line.

Vic Firth..

I have a Vic Firth Gourmet that I got from The Spice House. Very nice mill and well made.
If you want a pepper mill that is a work of art as well take a look at these.

RE: Type of Pepper Mill

I have a set of Olde Thompson wine botte shaped salt and pepper mills I wouldn't trade for the world. The grind adjustment is fast and wide and the T handle makes for serious grinding. They were originally purchased at Costco but I don't see that they have them any longer (there's a shock).

Have given up on those

What I do now is grind enough to fill a small ramekin in a coffee grinder and then I have large amounts ready at hand in the kitchen. It's usually empty by the end of the week.

Thanks for the responses

Good idea Lisa. Thanks for the tip.

I ended up getting a Magnum mill for Christmas. The thing is really amazing compared to what I was using.

Thanks for the input everyone!
