My wife just brought me home an 18 cm copper "casserole" purchased in Paris. (It's a saucepan with one handle and without a lid.) It's a beautiful item.

What is the best use for this tool? I'm a bit thrown by the lack of a lid, but she said that that's how they were sold and used.

Many copper pot lids are sold separately from the pots themselves. I paid about $120 for the lid to my copper pot. As for what to do with your pot, use it like you would any other pot. I am sure you will learn to love it and use it often. Cheers!
