Celebration Wines

I like to serve Prosecco which is Champagne like with the bubbly with cranberry mixed in. It is relatively inexpensive and great for the holidays.

What are your favorites ................. ?

Some Wines for Thanksgiving in the Planner

Bubbles certainly say celebration!!

There are lots of ways to celebrate with wine, but bubbles seem to speak the loudest when it comes to saying "Let's Celebrate!" But...we should celebrate more! There are incredible bubbles from Prosecco to Moscato D'Asti (sweet but very low in alcohol) to a delicious sekt from the Rhine to cremants from the Loire or Bourgougne, to very affordable and tasty cavas from Spain to some outstanding bruts from Okanagan! At the price points of some of these one should celebrate regularly, and it's worth pointing out that the dryness and structure of most bubblies make them very versatile pairing wise - they ain't just for caviar ya know! When you're shopping, don't forget to look for "farmer fizz" from France - there are some outstanding small producers who make unique and outstanding champagnes that you don't have to pay for the marketing for.
