To practice sautéing, cook a few of the vegetable dishes below. Make sure that your ingredients are properly prepped (uniformly cut and dried), the pan temperature is hot enough and you maintain a good sizzle. Don’t toss or stir the food much, particularly during the first 30 seconds to a minute. This will help the food develop a nice, golden color. Use those pan tossing skills a few times to toss the food during cooking.
Practice your sautéing skills without a recipe. It's a fast way to have a side of crisp and healthy vegetables on the table every day. After sautéing, simply season with a bit of salt and pepper to highlight the natural flavor.
