Hi,
I'm a 65 year old home care nurse. I was born in Dublin Ireland and emigrated to Michigan, USA in 1980. I have aways had a fondness for food and food preparation. During the past few years I have tried to develop this interest and love to research and prepare meals.
My teachere have been Julia child and Jacques Peppin as I have follow their techniques and recipes a lot. However I love to explore international cuisine and regularly prepare Italian, Spanish Thai and of course my native Irish cuisine.
So far I have had no formal culinary training. Hopefully this will now change when Rouxbe cooking school starts July 14.
