Hello all. I'm a brand new cooking student at Sait Polytechnic here in Calgary. Cooking has been my passion since childhood when my father first taught me how to cook an egg. I was 5. I'm 52 now. I haven't looked back, but only recently decided to take the next, and obvious step; to enroll in a professional cooking program. Rouxbe has proven to be an invaluable resource. The videos are top notch and the staff AMAZINGLY helpful. Unfortunately the videos are SO GOOD that I end up staying up way too late watching them, and am groggy and cranky at my first class.
A year later...I completed year 1 at SAIT, did amazingly well, and am looking for more culinary challanges
