I'm a proud American with Italian blood. I love to cook for my family. I get it from Nonna. She loves to cook for her family and really enjoys filling my belly with platefuls of food.
She grew up on a farm in Italy and I grew up around computers and chemistry sets. Like my father I studied engineering. My mother designs hair and floral arrangements. So combine a passion for cooking, science and art and you get me.
My cooking style relies heavily on Rouxbe's fundamentals because without understanding them I can't go past the recipe where I can use my art and design skills I feel I'm born with. With Rouxbe, I've been able to take what I have in the pantry and improvise. It's fun, saves time and saves money.
Traditionally, the mother does all the cooking in the family. However, I love it so much my wife has a hard time cooking without me trying to take over, showing her all the great experience I've gained studying professional chefs and taking courses at Rouxbe!
