Originally from New Orleans, LA but now live in Baton Rouge, LA.

I enjoy cooking but don't really know the fundamentals so I found this website and I'm giving it a go hoping to learn how to make my ok meals Awesome.

There are many GREAT restaurants in NOLA and as I get older I've started to appreciate them more.

I am also trying to learn to make more things from scratch. With fresh ingredients. I am finding that once you learn how to make a dish, in some cases it is easier than the crappy instant version.

I guess my influences are more creole than cajun, but my favorite foods are definitely soups. I really enjoy pho! and would love to master many different soups.
