"Its all about the journey, not the destination". If I wanted food, I could just go to a restaurant; creating something myself is whats fun. But following a recipe is boring; I like to change things. Meals used to get burned, overcooked, or just didn't turn out right. Learning a few simple techniques here at Rouxbe have empowered me to be able to make beautiful, simple, yet sophisticated meals out of a few common ingredients, without the common 'Martha'-style thinking.
