I was born in North Carolina, but have spent most of my life married and in Maryland. I was taught a lot about cooking from the time I was a kid, at my grandmother's home till now and still learning. I enjoy making Southern Cuisine (my heritage), as well as Pennsylvania Dutch (my husband's heritage). I have been in all aspects of food service in our family run restaurant, from age 17 to 37. I enjoy cooking and learning, as well as experimenting.
I raised 2 biological children, 3 adopted children, did therapeutic foster care. I have 16 grandchildren, 6 of which lives with me.
