I'm a seeker of knowledge and truth when it comes to cooking. I will not accept answers like "Because it just does, that's why," and so on. I need to know the real reasons why.

I started learning to cook in my early twenties, which was three decades ago. I am still learning.

I find it difficult to confine my "favorites" to the boxes I see below. It all depends on what I'm in the mood for, and I am pretty adventurous when it comes to food.

As to kitchen tools, there is what I would like to have, and what I can afford. So, perhaps if you pay attention, you will get to know all about me without me filling out pesky boxes. :)
