Dedicated hobbyist and food geek. I enjoy experimenting with newer methods like sous vide, but I believe the best results come from just having good technique and the best/freshest possible ingredients. I enjoy many different cuisines, but Southeast Asian and Spanish are consistently my favorites. My goal is simply to be able to cook meals for friends and family that would rival those from the best restaurants, without ever having had to suffer working in a commercial kitchen.
