Hello! I'm a housewife in Maryland, about 15 miles from D.C. I moved here recently from California. For as long as I can remember I have loved to cook. Growing up my mother didn't buy us any commercially prepared chips, sodas, cookies, crackers, candy or chocolates. She made all of it herself. I remember the first time I had a commercially prepared potato chip. I couldn't understand why it was so thin and it was to salty for my taste buds. So were most things I tried. This foundation has stuck with me all my life, and I enjoy making my own snacks for around the house. I lean more towards savory foods than sweets and cakes.
