I am 62 and a widower of some five years. I live in England, shoot pheasant and duck in the winter and fly-fish in the spring and summer for Brown trout. All my cooking is done on a four-oven oil-fired Aga which presents a few challenges with Rouxbe recipes but which allows me to make the most wonderful meat and vegetable stock,
slow roasts and cook directly on the hob with no pan.
