I will be 69in May and will be married 51 years on 9/11/12. I couldn't cook at all when I got married but was lucky enough to have a mother-in-law, raised on a farm, who made all her own bread, pies and cakes and canned vegetables. She took me under her wing. I never canned except pickles and jam but I'm a pretty good baker. I have discovered here that I don't know nearly what I thought I did.
