Hi,

My name is Linda. I am not quiet sure where to begin so I guess I will start at the beginning. I grew up around food, cooking, family and friends. My Mom and Grandmother were always teaching me something new to cook. So needless to say, I thought that was normal to always be in the kitchen and have a love of food, cooking and trying out a new recipe.

As I got older I found myself working in restaurants. I think I worked every job available in the restaurant business and also did some catering.

Now, being somewhat semi-retired at a early age and not because of health or anything like that. My husband just likes me home and the kids are grown so we find ourselves at a time in life when we can enjoy life, travel and each others company. I have time to perfect my God given talent. My husband thinks he has his own private chef--lol. Although, I do not carry the title of "Chef" but I most certainly am "Queen of My Kitchen."

I do still have dreams though. I now help the less fortunate by helping out at a local food pantry and what we call brown bag meals (groceries) on a volunteer level. My dream would be, to be able to help people learn the love of cooking as I learned as a child. I would love to be able to give simple cooking lessons where they could make simple home cooked meals that would stretch their dollar and be good for them. I believe we can all use a little extra spoonful of lovin and what better way than a meal shared with friends and or family.
