When I met my wife I knew how to cook a few basic things, but she is celiac AND allergic to corn, and completely hopeless in the kitchen. So I headed into the kitchen to try and learn how to make things like sauces, spice mixes, and such to feed her. I found that I was actually a pretty decent cook, but I need to learn more about proper cooking techniques.
