I am no stranger to food & cooking which is when I decided to open a Mexican restaurant named Dolphy’s last year here in Bombay, India. I am here to learn the fine art of cooking with the help of Rouxbe.
Hi People, a small synopsis of my years behind the gas stove. I have always been fascinated by TV food shows, recipes from cook books & would write down recipes & try them later. I love eating & also feeding people be it Indian, Continental or Latin American Cuisines.
My passion for food developed from an early age where I would take leftover food & turn them around. My folks would wonder if the meal has been cooked or ordered! I joined a 5 star hotel as an apprentice just after my high school but quit early on to join corporate life. I think if I stuck on I wouldn’t have to be on Rouxbe (no hard feelings guys. I guess this was meant to happen). Chefs I follow are Sanjeev Kapoor, Rick Bayless, Anthony Bourdain, Jane Milton, and Ananda Solomon.
