Diabetes is more common than ever. But diet changes can rival the healing power of medications—and all the “side effects” of nutrition are good ones. In this Rouxbe Live Event, Dr. Barnard discussed Type 2 Diabetes, and how diet changes can rival the healing power of medications for you and for your family.
Dr. Barnard has led several clinical trials investigating the effects of diet on health, including a recent study of dietary interventions in diabetes, funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Neal Barnard is the president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and an adjunct associate professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Barnard has authored dozens of scientific publications, as well as 15 books for lay readers.
