Travis Weige joined our Live Event classroom to discuss how he got started making knives, the different knife types, how to sharpen your knife quickly and how custom knives are made and what to look for in a knife when buying one.
About Travis Weige
Travis is a native Texan who started making custom chef knives in his garage as a hobby while working in the media industry. After local, statewide and national attention, knife making became a full time job. He now sells his custom, one of a kind, chef knives to professional chefs, home cook and those who appreciate fine, handmade products all over the world. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife, son and two dogs.
