Asian Inspired Vinaigrette

With hints of ginger, garlic, soy sauce and lemon juice, this light and refreshing vinaigrette is great on salads and also doubles as a delicious marinade for chicken or fish.

Step 1: Preparing the Vinaigrette

Preparing the Vinaigrette

To start, finely mince the ginger and garlic and add to a bowl.

Next, add the soy sauce, lemon juice, rice wine vinegar, sugar, chili flakes and then whisk in the oil.

This vinaigrette will keep for several days, if stored in the refrigerator.

  • 1" -inch piece fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/3 cup grapeseed or olive oil

Notes

This makes a nice vinaigrette for salads, but it also goes nicely with chicken or fish.
