Help, advice!

Hello,

I bought frozen spareribs last saturday and left them since then thawing on the refrigerator. I was planning to cook them today but i can“t.

Is it safe to keep them one more day on the refrigerator (i have them in a container cover with plastic wrap)?, should i precook them, how?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Juliana- Since the spareribs were still frozen on Saturday, they likely were not thawed fully until Sunday or Monday. You can keep them one more day as long as the temperature in the refrigerator is set properly and the pork was properly handled and frozen beforehand. Cheers!
