Studying in Kenya opened my world to other foods. My husband and I's first dates were Japanese, Ethiopian and Vietnamese food. Then moving to rural South Dakota, USA for 4 years and then Nepal for 16 years I've had to learn to make a lot of our favourite foods from scratch. I love learning about different cultures and their foods. We met Matt Haley here in Nepal and he has encouraged and inspired my daughter and I to cook even more.
