Question:

I tried two recipes from the new Esselstyn cookbook. The final result did not stick together. Would adding a flax meal/water mix (egg substitute) hold the recipe together?

Answer:

I'd, I'd have to know more, I guess, about the recipe that you are trying to cook more specifically. Um, but typically if you're looking something, looking for something that needs a binder, um, if you wanna make like a flax egg, uh, gel, that's something that you can do. You might need to really maybe up the amount of flax, um, in that egg substitute gel if it's not binding enough. But otherwise, I think to help you, I'd have to know just a little bit more about what specific recipes and like maybe a little bit more about your process and what, what didn't work for you.
