What are some vegan replacements for white sugar?

Answer:

Well the closest replacement would be vegan cane sugar. White sugar is cane sugar with everything stripped out of it. So if you see or organic cane, vegan cane or fair trade cane sugar, it's not going to be as white in color but it is going to be very one-to-one if you are making a chocolate cake or a carrot cake or you know, not a white cake or a vanilla cake or a lemon cake where the color of the granulated sugar matters, you can use coconut sugar. Coconut sugar, you wanna grind it because it's going to be far more coarse than white sugar or the cane sugar. But that's another really nice replacement.
