Ahi Tuna and Lentils

When your want to savor a great healthy lunch or dinner, this is a sure way to go! You will enjoy these subtle flavors! Bread is optional but not necessary to accompany this delightful platter!

Step 1: Making the Dressing

Making the Dressing

Mix all the ingredients together.

  • 6 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice

Step 2: Cooking the Ahi Tuna Fillets

Cooking the Ahi Tuna Fillets

Cover the Ahi Tuna with the dressing and pan fry until fully cooked.

  • 2 tablespoon of Prepared Dressing (per fillet)
  • 2 fillets Ahi Tuna

Step 3: Preparing the Lentils

Preparing the Lentils

Mix the cooked lentils with the prepared dressing, and place 1/2 cup on top of each Ahi Tuna fillet.

  • 1 cup Cooked Lentils

Step 4: Dressing the Plate

Dressing the Plate

In a large plate, place a good amount of mixed green lettuce.
Place the Cooked Ahi Tuna fillet on top.
Add 1/2 of cup of the Lentils on the very top.

Enjoy!

  • Mixed Greens Lettuce

Notes

Place the dressing a pan and start to cook the Ahi Tuna.
In a plate put some mixed greens, then place the cooked Ahi Tuna on top.
Mix the cooked Black Lentils with the leftover dressing and place it on top of the Ahi Tuna and Serve.
