Dr. Barnard has led several clinical trials investigating the effects of diet on health, including a recent study of dietary interventions in diabetes, funded by the National Institutes of Health.
Dr. Neal Barnard is the president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and an adjunct associate professor of Medicine at the George Washington University School of Medicine.
Dr. Barnard has authored dozens of scientific publications, as well as 15 books for lay readers.
