How can we get vitamin D through food?
Answer
So yeah, that's a little bit harder to find ones find, you know, plant-based actually personally think of vitamin D supplement myself, you know, especially just moving to Madison, Wisconsin. I'm not outside as much as I used to be in Austin, Texas, so You know Finding vitamin d in foods is a little bit harder as it's definitely found in something that are in animal products a lot more. But you know, even for my kids I'll actually do like orange juice. It's been fortified with vitamin D or like they do like almond milk vitamin D as well as in fortified with those too. So I typically take a supplement with those but you know typically for vitamin D sources and plant-based Foods. It's going to be you know, something that's been fortified as well too. Now again, that's just on recommended amounts or depending on your usage for those as well, too. But yeah, I typically just to be quite honestly use a supplement. and I'm just just make sure the system is working. Yeah, I mean the other source though, I guess is mushrooms and mushrooms have kind of a higher sources of vitamin D. But again, I eat mushrooms all the time and my doctor still says I need more vitamin D. So, you know supplement kind of works best for me, but that's just personally.
