Question:

Should I increase the oven temperature and baking time if I bake 3 cakes at the same time?

— Anita Patidar

Answer:

If you're baking three cakes at the same time in the same oven I'm assuming that you've got two on the center rack and one. Higher, I haven't had to do that with my bakes. But again, that's something for your oven. You might want to increase it maybe by 15. Degrees, but I wouldn't do more than that. If your oven is well insulated. And that's a situation where you know, you're going to just have to find out I'm thinking I'm suggesting to people that they do test bakes, but actually if you want to know how that works. I don't know. I mean Common Sense would say increase the temperature a little bit. And the baking time you just have to keep an eye on things no matter what. Being present in your oven when you are baking when you are roasting nuts. For example, I know I don't leave the kitchen once I start smelling the fragrance and I'm in another room. I know that the nuts or the coconut or the seeds are burnt. So we really want to pay attention to our work when you're testing your ovens when you're getting to know your ovens, whether they're New or Old you can read reacquaint yourself with your oven. I keep notes on my ovens. I think that's a really important thing us recipes that I like. I have notes this took this much time to bake. I make adjustments or a larger pan this took this much time to bake and I suggest that everyone do that now.
