Question:

Since I learned how to make dates and apricots paste, it fills my sweet tooth on a daily basis but I wonder if it is too much sugar?

— Lilly Boulianne

Answer:

I don't know how much date pace you're eating or what you're doing with it. It's better than using Jam or jelly because it has only natural sugars in them. But sugar is sugar is sugar except that the their in the in the apricots there is potassium and in the dates, there is Vitamin K. So they're a little bit more nutrient dense. If you don't want to eat the paste you could just have one or two pieces each of fruit because dried fruits have a higher range of sugar content then when you eat fresh fruit, but that is a very good question and mango paste is another one to add to your list. So thank you for sharing that question.
