I have made oat milk several times in different ways and a slimy goo has consistently been the result. Any tips?

Answer:
You know, when I was preparing this live event, I was trying to think of how not to use the word slimy and goo. And so I said viscous and I said pasty. But actually it is kind of slimy. Dana, have you tried, uh, tried using what I said earlier was oat absolute ice water, ice water oats. Don't soak the oats, put the ice water into your blender. It's best to have a high speed blender 'cause you want this to happen quickly put the oats in and blend immediately for not more than 30, 35 seconds. And then strain.
