Can you talk about buying oats in bulk?

I mean, you know, I know one of my friends in Philadelphia who you, those of you online may know Andrea Corby fine. She does a lot of easy to follow how-tos for batch cooking. Um, she buys oats probably in that quantity. I, when I get my oats home, particularly if I've bought bulk from the bulk store or the bulk bin, which I often do, I put them right in the freezer. I do this with flour, I do it with nuts, I do it with seeds too. If there was anything in there that I didn't want of a teeny little buggy nature, it will be gone. And then I store these oats or seeds or whatever I store them in my fridge or freezer. But it's a great way to save money, to buy bulk. And if you are in a household where 10 pounds of oats is going to be too much, see if you have friends who will share with you. I did that with um, dates. Uh, I like a company called Rancho Mecho and they had a special last year on dates if you bought 15 pounds or more. Well it was more than that, something like 45 pounds. But I got together with two other friends and we bought all these dates and we divided them up and we kept them in our freezer and refrigerator and it was just great.
