Question:
Any good references for plant based meals without peanuts or tree nuts?
— Lara Ionin
Answer:
I that's a yeah, there's a lot of different recipes that you could do with no peanuts or tree nuts. There's I it's I don't know where to start with that one because there's so many there's just a small amount of recipes that have peanuts or tree nuts in them going with the stir fries is an easy one to be able to go for as well. Just don't use a peanut oil and make sure you're looking for those kinds of things and you're going to restaurants as well. So, you know with eliminating certain things from your diet, I would say it's best to look at what you can eat not what you can't eat because that actually makes it so much easier you're gonna see that there's a wide variety of different things you can eat but just a small fraction of those things. You can't so what I would start with are some of the things that your son really loves, you know, so going towards recipes that he loved before we find out the allergy and say like, okay, how am I going to make this a little bit different to be able to accommodate his needs and what you'll find out that probably a lot of the recipes they like before didn't actually contain the tree nuts in them or Just a side thing. You don't really need to get the full flavor out of the dish as well, you know, like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich a little bit different than that. But, you know looking at your kind of traditional recipes, you'll be able to diversify with that a little bit.
