Question:
Can I eat buckwheat groats raw once sprouted? Is sprouting buckwheat a good idea?
— Cynthia Dudak
Answer:
Sprouting is always a good idea. Um, it's, uh, you know, generally it, it shifts the, um, the enzyme profile, the nutrient profile at least a little bit. And, um, you know, some things are, uh, usually eaten raw and, and some things are not. And, um, um, I would recommend a couple of, of approaches. You know, one would be to do a little search, uh, Dr. Google can help you with that and, uh, see what people are doing okay with, um, buckwheat, groats or something else. Okay? Uh, and then number two would be to try it and see how you like it. Okay? Uh, and just because everyone out there is doing it one way, doesn't mean you have to like it, it doesn't mean you will like it. Uh, if that's the situation, then go ahead and cook it and, and find a way for you to enjoy it.
