What is your go to Canapé?

Answer:

I probably is going to be a bruschetta of some sort where I will, um, you know, usually a bruschetta, I'm going to do like a tomato basil like shallot and maybe like a, I might do like an olive or something onto it. Um, but I'll also do something like a mushroom kind of onion, parsley, and garlic, maybe roasted garlic onto it. One of my other favorites is to do, um, a white bean puree. So I'll actually do white beans and roast garlic before that puree into it and a couple other ingredients if you want to. But I usually, for my, uh, canopies, I'm going to use a baguette or something similar to that. Um, and I'll actually broil the bread really quickly. I'll slice it and then broil it so you get a nice black crispiness onto it as well. Just adds that extra depth of flavor to it. So that's probably my, um, go-to for those.
