Question:
I chop my herbs dry. Then I wash them in a strainer. I put them in a salad, but there was no flavor. Too wet? Too finely chopped? Both? Help!

Answer:
Well, it's a couple of things. I wouldn't put them in the salad wet. I would wash your, I wash my herbs, I dry my herbs and then I chop them. If there is no flavor, then perhaps your herbs haven't got enough flavor. I mean, this smells like rosemary to me. I've got some thyme in the refrigerator that smells like thyme. So make sure that your herbs are dry. Make sure that they have a nice fragrance when you start. And if you're not tasting them, then add more.
