Question:

When I've used chia seeds (whole) in a recipe it produces a grainy texture I don't enjoy though I like the thickening. Is there a way to get the latter w/out the former?

— Diane Kirschner

Answer:

I grind my chia seeds be to make a gel or to put them in a recipe for the thickening. And then there's just no problem with that at all. So that's what I do. I don't use the whole seed unless I want some crunch, but I do grind the seeds keep, I have ground flax and ground chia in my refrigerator labeled with when I ground them. And that's what, and that's what I do. So I think you'll, you'll find that works.
