Question:

Which homemade milks would be more sustainable and best for plant-based dessets?

— Antoinette Bodeau

Answer:

And that has become an issue. People are unhappy about the amount of water. It takes a lot of water to grow almonds, cashews seem to take less water oats as well. So I think, and I tend to use oat milk for all of my desserts now for two reasons. I like the flavor. I like oatley, the different kinds of oatley oat milk. And also, um, I don't have to worry about allergies. I don't have to worry about this person as allergic to nuts. So that leaves out almond milk, cashew milk, all the nut milks. This person is a soy avoider, which I am not. So that leaves out soy milk. Soy milk is great. And so that's what I like. Uh, Lily wants to know, how long can you keep freeze dried cranberry powder? Well, I don't like to keep anything for, you know, ever and ever, but I think if it's fresh and you keep it airtight, it's okay. You can keep it in the freezer.
