I've read that the darker color has more benefit, but there is so much benefit in flax that I wouldn't worry about it too much when I am grinding flax and using it in a light colored dessert. And I don't use a lot of flax in my desserts, actually. Um, I have every morning my bowl of oatmeal is blueberries this time of the year or in the winter time it's frozen. I get them defrosted, organic, frozen blueberries, oatmeal. And then I have three lines on there, ground chia, ground flax, and some cinnamon. And that's my breakfast and sometimes some walnuts too. So that's, you know, that's what I say, that's what I say about that.
