Question:
In completing an assignment, can you use a recipe other than the one's offered if the methods being used are the same?
— Diane Kirschner
Answer:
I'll give you an example. I'll say yes, but when you write that third section, um, you know, you've got your, everything is cut perfectly. Uh, you have followed the directions when they say, show the dressing or the soup on a ladle or a spoon. You've done that. And your final photo of the soup that you've made, um, has a garnish on it. And, uh, you've given a very descriptive, um, response to your assignment. I would say yes, but I will say this, um, ve the roasted vegetable assignment, you wanna choose a vegetable that is easy to cook. You know, some of us have, um, things that we love, but are they practical? So as long as the recipe is practical and it follows the guidelines of the program, then I think I would say yes. But I would put at the top, um, this is my own recipe following the guidelines of the assignment. So this way that we know that you have followed the guidelines so that you can meet the objectives of the assignment.
