Question:
When we do an assignment, can we add more things to the meal while "serving"? Like more stews in Ethiopian cooking in the international assignment, even though the recipe/meal shows one dish?
— Kristin T. Østrem
Answer:
So there, I'm not sure exactly the scenario, but we have, we have a couple of 'em. So let me talk through these, um, for an instructor graded assignment. Um, if the assignment asks you to focus on one preparation, then please, uh, feature just that preparation. Uh, we wanna see, uh, a closeup, uh, photo where you fill up the viewfinder okay, with the food, so we can see the details of your good work emphasizing what is asked for in that assignment. That's very important. Um, you might have a beautiful photo, but if it doesn't show the angle or the aspect that we need to see in order to grade a particular technical aspect, um, of the, uh, learning outcomes, um, then we, we can't grade you, um, effectively. Okay? So, um, please keep that in mind. There are some other scenarios where an assignment, um, um, might say, you know, show your dish together with other things that you made for the meal, right? In which case, yes, uh, you can, you can show that dish along with those other things that you prepared to, to compliment that dish for the complete meal. Okay? Um, so, you know, really just stick to the context of the assignment.
