What is the best way to create nice, even shaped veggie burgers?
Answer
So, uh, when you're, if you want some nice round patties, uh, excuse me a second, um, you know, if, if hand, you know, the hand padding method is, is unsatisfactory to you, then get a, a ring, a mold, you know, I guess we call 'em a ring mold, but it's a ring, um, uh, usually made outta stainless steel. That's gonna be your, your culinary sort of grade and, uh, better quality product. And, um, you can get 'em in different diameters depending on what you want. And then you can just lay that down on your, your surface, you know, cutting board or whatever. And then just, uh, pack in, you know, your, your product and, um, uh, you're good to go. You can slide that off. Um, you can put a spatula underneath it and move it directly to the pan, whether you, can you cook this over the, uh, on the stove top, uh, or put on the sheet pan to, uh, cook in the oven, you know, slide the spatula out, and then pull the ring mold off, and you've got this nicely formed patty. Okay? Now, it is, um, possible, depending on, on the nature of, of that filling you're using, that, that can be sticky, you know, in which case, um, uh, kinda like, uh, cutting biscuits, you can, uh, dip the, uh, this, this ring mold, you know, in a flour of some sort. Um, just to, to have a little bit of, uh, powder in there that'll help release the product.
