Question:

How is Seitan incorporated into in our cooking to enhance a recipe and not be the primary component of the recipe?

— Gina Pimentel

Answer:

So I think that some people think that they need to eat Satan, uh, or wheat meat at it is, as it is called in some communities. Uh, wheat meat is very, very versatile. There are many recipes, and I happen to love the brisket, the barbecue brisket one that we use. However, um, you can use it chopped up in salads. You can grind it and make a pasta sauce out of it. You can grind it and use it as taco filler. I mean, any place that you would use an animal product in a dish, you can grind up your Satan and use it that way. Now, in a little bit, we're gonna talk about, um, another avenue of Holloway holiday prep, but this is, um, Satan that I made and I cooked in a mushroom gravy, an oil-free mushroom gravy. And you'll see what we're gonna do with that later. Uh, that's something you might wanna serve when you, uh, prepare your Thanksgiving dinner, if that's something that you do, pardon the clicking in the clacking. Um, yeah, I like to have it on, uh, a Philadelphia hogie where I would get a whole wheat roll, slice up a bunch of vegetables, and then put a couple of pieces in Satan in it. And, um, I think it's a wonderful way to enjoy a dish. And everybody seems to have their own way of making it and their own favorite spices and things like that. So I think that, uh, Gina, you're gonna find a way that you like to make it your way, and it'll come out really, really nicely.
