For the pie that I made, um, I used silken tofu and the silken tofu, and I used a half a cup of raw cashews that I had soaked for about an hour in some hot water. And I did not use flax mill. And I'm gonna tell you the reason why I have some food detectives in my house who when they see a fleck, a flax meal say that three times fast, when they see a fleck, a flax meal in any recipe, they kind of get a little ooey over it. So I've learned to do other things and the silk and tofu did a great job, but it has to be silken because silken is so nice and silky and smooth. So that would be my recommendation, but you could try either one. Whatever you'd like to cook with best would certainly be, be good.
